What parking is available?

Free parking is available under the I-94 ramp at Dunwoody Drive, just a 5-minute walk to the entrance of The Journey (in the alley, next to Fawkes Alley Coffee). Paid street parking surrounds the venue along with a paid parking lot next to Gai Noi. There is also parking at the Minneapolis College Parking garage on the east side of the Basillica on Hennepin Ave. and Maple Street, which is a short walk away.

6, 8, or 13 hour Rentals

Are there required caterers?

We have an open vendor policy that allows you to use your favorites! We do require that food comes from licensed and insured caterers and that all alcohol is provided by a bartender that carries liability insurance. Beyond that, we believe that everyone should be able bring the vendors that suit them best!

Is there security?

Security is required for all events serving alcohol. It usually costs $45 per hour. You can bring in your own security or you can use one from our preferred vendor list.

Do you allow candles with flames?

Candles with flames are allowed as long as they are enclosed, meaning that something is on the bottom and surrounding the candle completely.

Do you require event insurance?

Yes, Event Day Insurance is required and I work with a company that makes it seemless to get. It costs less than $150 for the day.

Do you require wedding or event coordinators?

No, a wedding or event coordinator is not required but a point of contact for vendors is recommended.
